« Art is a wound that becomes light. » G.Braque

HEAL exhibition features works by 27 local and international artists working on various media,
painting, photography and sculpture, over 80 works exhibited within the Docks on the theme
of Art that Heals.

Based on the WHO report, published in 2019, affirming the positive impact of Art on our well-
being and health, each participating artist has questioned the theme and offers us their own interpretation.

From the creative process to the exhibition of the final work, every aspect is paramount in
healing through Art. Some artists find it an escape, a way to express their feelings and to
release their emotions.
Through their work, artists can also raise social issues and allow for an improvement in the
links between different groups, through compassion and mutual aid.

DEBSAYSYES FOUNDATION
Debsaysyes is a Dutch non-profit foundation that believes that more artists should be able to make a
living from their work and that more people should be able to see and buy high quality art. To do
this, the foundation challenges great artists to create small works for a maximum of €500. The
foundation introduces the works to a new audience through one-off exhibitions and Art events.

CHLOÉ MARCHAND
After obtaining a degree in Art History and a master’s degree in Marketing, Chloé Marchand started
her career in the art market in Hong Kong in 2016, where she worked in internationally renowned

of Bailly Gallery in Paris in the Hotel Bristol, rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, where she was in charge
of setting up exhibitions and selling works of masters of Modern Art (Picasso, Renoir, Chagall etc).
Today, living between Paris and the south of France, she is an independent art consultant and
organizes exhibitions.
